Description
The XLR8 Walker is a full shell pneumatic walking boot used for treating severe sprains, malleolar fractures, fractures of the lower 3rd of the leg and pre or post-op use. The rigid shell contains 2 integrated independent air cells for a precise anatomical fit. These air cells provide quick and easy inflation to adjust the pressure to the edema once the boot is in place. The liner of the XLR8 is removable and washable, whilst the adjustable toe-guard helps to protect the front of the foot. The curved, anti-skid sole helps with natural, comfortable walking. This short walker boot can be used for forefoot injuries or post-operative use.

HOW TO USE
- Unfasten the Velcro straps, remove rigid front part and open the foam bootee.
- Sit down and place your lower leg and foot in the foam bootee, checking that your heel is correctly positioned at the bottom of the boot. Close the foam bootee, applying it firmly around the lower leg and foot.
- Replace the rigid front part.
- Fasten the walker boot again, tightening the velcro straps from the bottom to top
- Adjust the toe guard
- To increase compression while maintaining comfort at the ankle bones, two air cells air integrated on either side of the boot, to be inflated by pressing on the blue inflator bulb. To deflate the cells, open the cap on the back of the inflator bulb and press the valve.
- Try walking with the boot to check that it fits properly and that it is working correctly.
