La Roche-Posay Mela B3 Dark Spot Corrector Serum is specially formulated to correct hyperpigmentation spots and evens out the skin tone. This formula is composed of Multi-patented Melasyl which has a new and unique mechanism of action. It intercepts excess Melanin before it marks the skin. Melasyl proved a superior anti-pigmentation efficacy versus 5 referent actives. It also contains 10% Vitamin B3 (Niacinamide) which is known for its ability to sooth the skin, strengthen the skin barrier and correct dark spots. It reduces post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation and even stubborn dark spots to reveal a brighter, more even complexion. Micro-inflammation is the common trigger for every pigmentary disorder and leads to an over-production of melanin. Niacinamide is a powerhouse ingredient that helps fade hyperpigmentation but also helps repair the skin barrier.
