Apply sunscreen to your face first. Dot the sunscreen evenly across your forehead, cheeks, nose, and chin. Use your fingertips to gently blend the sunscreen into your skin using upward and outward motions. Be sure to cover your entire face, including the ears and neck. Apply sunscreen to your face, move on to your body. Squeeze more sunscreen onto your fingertips and apply it generously to all exposed areas of skin. Rub the sunscreen smoothly, even strokes until it is fully absorbed. It's important to reapply sunscreen every two hours, or more frequently if you are swimming or sweating heavily. Also, reapply after the towel is drying. Pay special attention to areas that are more prone to sunburn, such as the nose, shoulders, and tops of the feet. Don't forget to apply sunscreen to your lips or use a lip balm with SPF protection. Be careful to avoid getting sunscreen in your eyes.
